Our founder created Empowered Recovery Center from his own experience in long-term recovery. He knows firsthand what it’s like to walk in our patients’ shoes, and his journey continues to shape our philosophy and approach. Since opening our first facility in Atlanta, Empowered Recovery Center has helped countless individuals find lasting sobriety, confidence, and connection. Now, we’re excited to bring those same life-changing services and standards of care to Kansas City.
Programs at Empowered Recovery Kansas City
Our treatment process begins with medical detox, a safe and supervised environment where patients can begin healing physically and mentally under medical supervision. After detox, individuals can step down into one of our flexible rehab programs designed to meet each person where they are in their recovery.
Our rehab programs include:
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): 20-30 hours per week of a highly structured day program offering intensive clinical support and therapy without 24/7 residential care.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 9–20 hours per week of group and individual therapy, ideal for those transitioning from higher levels of care or balancing work and family commitments.
- Standard Outpatient Rehab: Less than 9 hours per week of ongoing therapy and support to help maintain progress, manage triggers, strengthen coping skills, and slowly integrate back into everyday life.
